The European Joint Action on Personalised Cancer Medicine (JA PCM) will officially launch on 10 September 2025 with a full-day event hosted by Sciensano in Brussels. This high-level meeting will bring together representatives from Member States, cancer centres, public health authorities, patient organisations, and European institutions.
Over the next four years, JA PCM will support the design and implementation of personalised approaches across the cancer care continuum — from prevention to follow-up. With 29 countries and over 140 partner organisations involved, the Joint Action is one of the most ambitious European efforts to reduce inequalities in cancer care and foster innovation that reaches real patients.
What to expect
- Presentation of JA PCM’s structure and objectives
- Introduction to the seven pilot interventions
- First meeting of the Governmental Board
- Exchanges on equity, ethics, digital tools, and data use
